After 23 years living in warm & beautiful Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic), I packed my stuff to College Park, MD to pursue my master’s degree at the University of Maryland. This represented enough change for me to say to myself “Hey, I should start writing about these new (maybe exciting) experiences ... and maybe ten or twenty years from I’ll say “Hey, I remember that day, when ...”. But the Internet and the world are so small that maybe one day someone might find one of these stories interesting, educating or ... who knows, just stops by.
